Redshift 3D Online Course
All you need to know about lighting, shading, texturing and rendering. Recording provided by senior compositor from featured film VFX industry.
Its ONLINE course, so you will get access to all recorded video chapters and you can study them at anytime, anywhere and without any deadlines.
We’ve created course trailer (check video on the top) to present our rendering skills. Also, please refer to the free chapter below (check bottom video) to show as example what you can expect in our course.
The entire course was recorded in with Redshift 3D.
Cinema 4D platform is very user friendly for beginners and Redshift is an excellent GPU oriented rendering software . For our purposes, it was an ideal combination.
However, it doesn’t matter which software you use, you could be using blender, maya, Houdini or 3Ds max… The techniques which we will show you are very similar on all mentioned platforms as all platforms use the same node system workflow. By the end of the course, you will be able to apply them in your preferred environment as well.
Our idea is to show u how you can easily control all nodes and their parameters, instead of overloading you with many technicalities and boring information which you don’t actually need to know.
We will go step by step through all Redshift shaders and their parameters, to help you better understand how you can apply it on your 3D models.
In addition, we will show you more advanced techniques such as: how to build new textures directly in Redshift, full procedural materials, masks for models without UV and many more.
The Course consists of 4 main parts split into more than 80 online chapters:
1, Parameters: We will explain all important redshift objects, color space, lights, environment, volume/vdb, shaders and nodes
2, Breakdown: We explain step by step our techniques used on professional 3D models
3, Practice: You will practice the techniques and how to correctly use node parameters on the free 3D models
4, Pipeline: We will explain how to correctly use Megascans, Substance, X-particles, VDB from Houdini, FD turbulence and Hot 4D with Redshift.
